1. At Katie's doctor appointment, the doctor told me I had to continue mostly bottle feeding her until she was 4 MONTHS OLD (we have to fortify her milk with a preemie supplement)!! What? How is she ever going to get good at breastfeeding?!! Oh, and I hate pumping!
2. The severe lack of sleep I have had this week. It's a really good thing that Kate is so cute.
3. The sound of someone mowing their lawn on Sunday!! Really? Could you do that some other day when I am not trying to make up for all the sleep I've lost.
4. The tremendous amount of homework Avery has had to do this week. First of all, she is only in the second grade and second, it takes up a lot more of MY time working with her and checking it every day.
5. The freaking wasp I stepped on on Wednesday. MY TOE ITCHES LIKE CRAZY!

That's awful- all of those things. I'm so sorry. It's never easy having a newborn, and then to add all of that to it. so sorry- hope you get to rest a lot this week. I've been thinking of you!!
So sorry about the bottle feeding! It is so hard to not be able to just nurse your baby if that's what you want! Mak was really bad at nursing and my body wasn't helping, and I felt like such a failure! Then with Oscar I ended up back in the hospital shortly after he was born and the doctors told me I couldn't nurse him for at least a month with all the drugs in my system! Failure again! But in the end the most important thing is having that beautiful baby healthy, and in had to retell myself that everyday.
I think God made babies so cute while they sleep, so we would forgive them everything thermals while they were awake :-)
You have such a beautiful family! And you are such an awesomely amazing women! Good luck with all your new adventures!
