This picture cracks me up because I wanted to get a picture of them in front of the snowman but the sun was right in their eyes. I told Avery to close her eyes until I counted to three then open them. Too Funny!!
Those of you close to us know that we move a lot. In all the years of our marriage, Mark and I have moved at least 10 times. If you think that it is hard to keep up with us, imagine how we must feel. I created this blog to help you all keep track of us.

Ready for Christmas
The kids looked so nice in their Christmas outfits, I had to get some pictures of them. Thanks Mom and Season for the adorable clothes.

Randomness
Here are some random things.
Spencer fell asleep on the floor when I was taking my Chemistry quiz. Guess he was bored. That makes two of us.

These are the best. Mint M&Ms! Yummy!

We got some bracelets as gifts from the Relief society. Cute Huh?

They put two female charms on the bracelet to represent sisterhood. Look closely at the charm. See the hair on that lady? That's what I look like--frazzled!

Giving Thanks
This is a belated post from Thanksgiving. I decided to try to do a little decorating this year. I got some fun ideas from a blog and we had a wonderful thanksgiving.
Happy Kids.

We made some memory book pages with the kids handprints, names, and a picture of something they were thankful for.

A Little Bit of Country
Would you believe that a few short miles outside of the Houston metropolis, there is a huge working farm that plays host to thousands and thousands of visitors every weekend in the fall. GENIUS! Tickets are in the double digits per person and include a variety of fun activities like...
Rolling slides

A tree Fort

A hayride

A Pumpkin patch

A Corn Maze

A hay mountain with rope swings

Swings and things

And oh so much more.
We had a great time and felt it was worth every dime we paid for our half priced "Groupon" tickets. On the way out Mark turns to me and says, "I can't believe people pay for stuff like this. This is free fun where I'm from." Well, guess what Toto you're not in Canada anymore. These city folks are willing to pay for a country experience. Thanks Dewberry Farms for as much farming as I ever want to do.

Pushing Daisies and PIE
Mark and I just finished watching the entire series of Pushing Daisies on Netflix. We loved it! It was whimsical--full of mystery and fun.

Anyway, as this group of people is solving mysteries, they are eating pie. All different kinds of mouthwatering pies. See....

So, needless to say, I've been feeling like pie. (I don't even like pie.) I finally got together all of the ingredients and whipped up this little baby.
Apple Pie..mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...........

Yes it tastes as good as it looks-maybe even better-and I'm pretty proud to be able to call myself a "piemaker." Now, what pie should I make next?

Catching up!
I have been doing a terrible job lately of keeping up with all the exciting and not so exciting times in our home. Avery lost her second tooth. She took this picture herself. The really freaky thing is that her new permanent teeth are coming into that tiny spot sideways! Oh no! Someone please tell me they will straighten up.

To Recycle or Not?
So, with the upcoming holiday, I have been discussing costumes with the kids. I have been gently urging my children to wear something we already have. When Avery was two years old, I worked really hard to make this candy corn costume. Believe me when I say IT WAS A DOOZIE!

So I had Sarah wear it when she was old enough and I am considering having Spence wear it this year. Is it too weird that I will have three different pictures of three different children three different years wearing the same costume? So I have to consider if I am being environmentally friendly or just CHEAP!
p.s. We are also recycling this costume this year...

"Sarah, you want to be a ballerina for Halloween, Right?"
"Um. Right mom."
See, that was easy.
