Getting so big!

A friend of mine lent me a book called Babywise not too long ago. I had heard of it but never really knew what the concept was. When Avery and Sarah were babies, I tried really hard to do everything just right. They were on a pretty good schedule and were sleeping through the night at 6 months old. I did not move either of them out of my room until 6 months. The truth is that they would have been sleeping through the night a lot sooner if I had moved them out earlier. I am such a light sleeper, I wake up anytime the baby moves. Well, I have had a harder time getting a schedule for Spencer. He is almost 7 months old and I had no plans for moving him out of my room anytime soon until I read Babywise. Spence got kicked out of my room a few nights ago. He has some semi-scheduled eating and napping times. IT'S FANTASTIC! The boy takes long naps and wakes up happy. He is sleeping until 6am every morning. I miss him terribly though and find myself waking in the middle of the night to listen intently to the baby monitor in case he needs me. Here's my big boy in his crib.

Here's my big boy's almost completed room. Keep in mind this is my first nursery and the first child I have ever had sleep in a crib.



Here are my girls sculpting bugs out of Gramma's homemade playdoe. I was pretty impressed.
