It's 4 o'clock in the morning and I feel a little like this cartoon character with the permanent raincloud over his head. The thunder, lightening and heavy rainfall started at about 4pm yesterday and I haven't been able to sleep since 2am. I keep having these dreams that I wake up in a flooded house. I finally had to go check the weather to see when we are going to get a break from this. I think the forecast says it will stop raining May 6th. Yippee!
So we have no backyard neighbors. We live next to a giant runoff. It got so full during the hurricane, I got pretty nervous. I would have to say, it's at least that full this morning.

I was asking myseslf what you were doing up at 4am when you left a note on my blog. Damon couldn't sleep either. But the kids and I weren't having a problem. I love rainy nights! But sometimes there is TOO much rain!
I was up most of the night too - maybe it was the rain but I think mostly pregnancy discomfort. I keep wondering when I'll be able to function again - next time I'll try chatting w/you at 4am.
