Really, my refrigerator is on its last leg and far from being energy star certified--saving on electricity is good right?
Or a nice pair of these...

Again--energy star--and think of all the laundry I could get done in these babies.
But here's the big ticket item I really "want"...

I'm ready to trade the Mazda5 for something bigger, newer and more exciting (Yes, I think a minivan sounds very exciting right now). I always buy a new car with the intention to keep it forever but the truth is, I like car shopping, haggling, and driving away in something that is new and wonderful. Sadly, the novelty wears off and I get bored much sooner than I expect. I get that from my dad. But, I swear, if I get a minivan, I will be happy forever!

I've had mine for almost 3 years and it's dirty and worn but I LOVE IT! Good luck being patient.
Too funny! I'm the same way. As soon as I know we don't have the money for something, that's all I want! We got a Honda Oddessy about a year and a half ago and I LOVE it. It wasn't new, it's a 2000, but still, loading kids in a van is WAY easier (and even more fun)! Hang in there, it will come. (you could always get pregnant again and then INSIST that you NEED a van with 4 kids. I'm not sure if it's really worth that though ;) )
I want a new washer and dryer too! our dryer broke and I am mooching off my mom and grandma's dryer hookup!! :) hopefully i will have a dryer soon...robb says he is going to get me one at a scratch and dent place. :( (i prefer one of those nice ones like you posted)..
p.s. minivans are fun!!
You crack me up Lake! Hope you get your minivan soon!
Yes- the washer and dryer is to die for!! isnt it crazy what we wish for- not trips to the beach or a year supply of chocolate, but the BMW's of washer and dryers for our own sake!!
